Hi
Just in case any of you are wondering who AbsentMember is then I had better explain.
When I transferred the posts from the old board there were quite a few from members who have not yet joined this new message board. In order to be able to transfer the posts along with all the others we had to invent a "blank" member to fill these gaps. This is AbsentMember who has now taken the place of quite a few of our missing friends.
If any of these people should now join this board the posts they made will be attributed to them and gradually AbsentMember should start to disappear 
Sadly not everyone from the old board will join us - that's what happens on message boards, people lose interest and disappear or only ever posted once and will never return 
However, I am hoping that over a period of time some of our more active, but currently missing members, will return and join us in our new home  |
I know I'm getting better at golf because I'm hitting fewer spectators.  |
